POSITION OVERVIEW
As Senior QA engineer you will have an important role in the process of analyzing and testing the products developed, identifying any bugs or other issues, ensuring high quality of the team deliveries. The scope of the team is to develop and evolve the voting and promotion platforms and mobile apps
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java Script and Type Script across multiple phases of the testing lifecycle, including design, creation, maintenance, deployment, and reporting.
- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end) to ensure software quality and stability across releases.
- Collaborate closely with Development and Product teams to define and implement effective test methodologies, standards, and best practices to ensure fast and safe software delivery.
- Support ongoing feature development by designing, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated test suites.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and document them clearly in bug tracking systems (JIRA).
- Participate in the review of product requirements and contribute to the design of test strategies and test plans.
- Generate detailed and comprehensive test reports to communicate test progress, quality metrics, and risks.
- Troubleshoot issues, reproduce reported bugs, and work with engineers to validate fixes.
- Share knowledge, mentor peers, and promote a culture of quality within the team.
WE HOPE YOU HAVE
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer with strong skills in both manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript is preferred; experience with other programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, Perl, PowerShell, or Bash is a plus.
- Good understanding of the software development life cycle and software testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA) and version control systems
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman) or network sniffing/tracing tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts
- Fluency in English
